The awards are judged by an esteemed panel of industry leaders and experts, the judging is a rigorous two-stage process including pre-scoring to determine shortlists and a judging meeting where entries are discussed and evaluated in detail to decide the winning entries.

Samantha Noble is the Founder of Biddable Moments, an Paid Media Consultancy Agency dedicated to helping brands increase their revenue through PPC and audience development. Samantha won the UK Search Personality Award at the UK Search Awards 2016 and was also rated one of the top 25 in PPC Heros ‘Most Influential PPC Experts’ list in 2016 and 2017. Back in 2011, Samantha also founded the Digital Females group which now has in excess of 750 members and has held 16 events to date.

Jim is the CEO of Spades Media and the founder of EliteMediaBuyers.com an online community for media buyers at every stage of their career in media buying. Jim has been a biddable media buyer for the past 20 years and worked in-house as well as agency side. He’s helped over a thousand businesses unlock the challenges of scaling their biddable media efforts. Jim is a regular fixture on the judging panel at the UK, European, MENA and US Search awards and is a returning judge for the 2020 Biddable Media Awards. Never one to shy away from giving a differing opinion on what constitutes award-winning entries to other judges, Jim enjoys critiquing entries at the Awards and seeing what the biddable media community thinks is worthy of winning.

Joanna Bodley | Senior Lecturer in Digital Marketing & Marketing | Manchester Metropolitan University

With over ten years’ experience, Joanna Bodley has seen every side of the industry from creative to comms and large to small agencies, as well as in-house teams. She has developed, implemented and overseen social and digital strategies and provided guidance for a wide range of clients like The Co-operative Bank, Gumtree and Chewits. She has a keen understanding of the complexities involved in making digital, social media, content and advertising efforts a success. She harnesses this as a speaker and professional educator, having delivered training for numerous organisations, including Econsultancy. Jo is now a Senior Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University and course director for their MSc Digital Marketing programme, sharing her experience with the next generation of marketers. She also runs her own consultancy, Jo & Co.

Laurent Bourrelly | SEO Consultant | LAURENT BOURELLY S.L.U

In 1994, Laurent started working in marketing and branding. Laurent discovered the wonders of SEO in 2004, by entering a SEO contest. After three months of 24/7 SERP battling in this international competition, he got it. He knew exactly how and what to feed Google in order to help any web page rank at the top of Google SERP. It’s no miracle. If you put in the time and education over thousands of hours, you’ll eventually figure it out just as Laurent has. Like many others, Laurent cut his teeth mastering both black and white hat SEO techniques, adapting and evolving during each google algorithm update to keep himself at the bleeding edge of best practices right up to this very day. Bringing back his knowledge about branding and marketing into the SEO mix became obvious around 2010. Today, Laurent is one of the very few who can go from high-class Content Marketing to Black Hat SEO while building a strong Semantic SEO main pillar. Laurent now focuses his time mainly on consulting and has trained numerous SEO professionals, amongst the best in their fields.

Arianne Donoghue | Associate Director, Digital Strategy | Edit

Arianne is Edit’s Associate Director of Digital Strategy, helping clients solve their business problems through marketing, technology and data. Having worked for some of the biggest agencies and brands in the country, Arianne won the UK Search Personality of the Year Award at the 2019 UK Search Awards and in 2019 was listed as one of PPC Hero's "Top 50 PPC Influencers". Also involved with initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion in digital, Arianne is a regular industry speaker and trainer at digital events across the country

Ben Irons | Senior Sales Manager | Microsoft Advertising

An experienced Digital Marketing professional, Ben joined the Microsoft Advertising team in October 2018. Ben leads a sales team of Account Directors and Managers, servicing agencies and clients directly, with the aim of utilising both Bing and other Microsoft products to answer business challenges and drive performance for advertisers across the Microsoft Advertising network. Ben has over ten years’ experience in the Digital Marketing industry and has held digital roles with Yahoo Search, iProspect and PHD Media, and most recently as Digital Director for online retail marketplace Notonthehighstreet.com.
